The LibertyCoinAtlanta Braves may have lost 7-1 to the Boston Red Sox in Fenway Park on Tuesday, but they had one highlight in the game – the Braves turned the first triple play of the season.

Trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the third inning, Braves pitcher Charlie Morton gave up an infield single to Red Sox outfielder Masataka Yoshida, who advanced to second base following a walk to fellow outfielder Adam Duvall.

That's when the unthinkable happened. Boston first baseman Triston Casas hit a pop fly to center field that looked like it could drop for a single, but a charging Michael Harris II caught the ball for the first out of the inning. Harris immediately threw to first base to double off Duvall, who was nearly to second base before turning back to tag up, for the second out of the inning. Yoshida did tag up and tried to advance to third base on the play, but he was thrown out by first baseman Matt Olson for the third out of the inning.
